Sebagai program studi berbasis BNSP, Prodi S1 Informatika ITSK Soepraoen berkomitmen penuh agar mahasiswa, lulusan, dan SDM yang berada di bawah naungan S1 Informatika mampu menambah skill, mengembangkan diri, dan memiliki predikat kompeten dalam bidang yang digeluti. Hal tersebut merupakan jawaban atas tantangan bagi kemampuan SDM dalam persaingan kerja era terkini. Sebagai perwujudan komitmen, Prodi S1 Informatika berkolaborasi dengan LSP Media Informatika dalam menggelar pelatihan dan sertifikasi BNSP khusus tenaga kependidikan.
Rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan dan sertifikasi ini berlangsung selama dua hari mulai hari Senin, 24 Maret 2025 hingga Selasa, 25 Maret 2025. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh total dua belas orang tenaga kependidikan yang berasal dari program studi, fakultas, dan rektorat ITSK Soepraoen. Adapun skema yang diujikan adalah Junior Office Operator (JOO). Di kesempatan kali ini, para peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk mengasah ilmu dan menguji kemampuan dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi perkantoran yang digunakan untuk menjalankan administrasi sehari-hari.
Pada hari pertama, seluruh peserta dikumpulkan di Lab L2-02 untuk mendapatkan pengarahan dan pelatihan. Materi pertama yang diajarkan adalah perangkat peripheral. Dibawakan oleh Trainer Moh. Ali Makhrus, S.Kom., materi ini mencakup tata cara penggunaan monitor, printer, scanner, CPU, dan lain sebagainya. Setelah itu, peserta diberikan materi aplikasi perkantoran oleh Trainer M. Syauqi Haris, M.Kom. Ada tiga aplikasi yang menjadi fokus, yaitu Microsoft Word (pengolah kata), Microsoft Excel (lembar sebar), dan Microsoft PowerPoint (presentasi). Pada materi pengolah kata, peserta diajarkan menggunakan fitur mail merge untuk membantu membuat urutan nomor dan nama yang tertera pada surat tugas. Pada materi lembar sebar, peserta dibimbing untuk menggunakan rumus ‘AVERAGE’, ‘IF’, ‘AND’, ‘OR’, ‘VLOOKUP’, dan ‘HLOOKUP’. Sementara itu, pada materi presentasi, peserta diajarkan cara membuat slide presentasi yang menarik dengan menggunakan berbagai fitur animasi, shape, dan transisi yang ada.
Pada hari kedua, peserta dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 diuji oleh Asesor Risqy Siwi Pradini, S.S.T., M.Kom., sementara kelompok 2 diuji oleh Asesor Mochammad Anshori, M.Kom. Pada kesempatan ini, peserta diwajibkan menunjukkan hasil pelatihan kemarin melalui jawaban soal yang diberikan. Tiga soal yang harus diselesaikan mencakup penggunaan mail merge untuk membuat undangan, penggunaan rumus vlookup dan hlookup untuk membuat laporan penjualan, dan penggunaan fitur PowerPoint untuk membuat presentasi mengenai diri sendiri.
Selain untuk mewujudkan komitmen prodi, kegiatan pelatihan dan sertifikasi BNSP ini juga dimaksudkan sebagai suatu penekanan bagi pimpinan ITSK Soepraoen atas pentingnya sertifikasi kompetensi bagi SDM institusi. Harapannya, dengan gelar kompeten dan skill yang dimiliki, SDM institusi semakin profesional dalam bekerja dan mampu membantu kampus menuju arah yang lebih maju.
